Kajol, one of the leading and long standing actress in Bollywood is celebrating her 35th birthday on 5th August this year. She debuted in the Hindi movie 'Bekhudi' in the year 1992. From there on till now she has acted in more than 40 movies in different languages. She has won 6 Filmfare awards apart from being nominated on many occasions. Her first Filmfare award came for the movie 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' in which she acted along Shah Rukh Khan and the recent one came for the movie 'Fanaa' which she co-stared with Aamir Khan. She got married to Ajay Devgan, who is also a popular bollywood actor, in the year 1999 and still she lives with him unlike most of the bollywood stars who keep changing their girl friends and boy friends very often. In this way she is a good role model for the youngsters. Since she had a good background in movies it was not difficult for her to enter the entertainment industry. If she is still here entertaining all of us, its because of her skill and hard work that she puts in to this profession. Genelia celebrates her 29th birthday on August 5, 2010. She is a well known happening actress in some of the filming languages in India. She began her acting career in the year 2003 and has acted in more than 25 films in different languages including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. Though she was brought up in Mumbai, she has acted in more number of Telegu and Tamil movies compared to Hindi and Kannada. This was because her debut movie 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' failed to make waves in Hindi which din't stop her from regaining her place in Bollywood from the 2008. She has won four awards so far among which 3 came for the movie 'Bommarillu' which is a Telegu movie. Apart from acting she also hosts TV a show called 'Big Switch'. Jimena Navarrete is Miss Universe 2010

The results of the Miss Universe 2010 has been announced and Jimena Navarrete has won the title. She is just 22 years old and is from Mexico. This is the 59th year the competition is being held. She was crowned by last year's winner Stefania Fernandez who is from Venezuela. The second position was won by Yendi Phillipps (22 years old) who is also miss Jamaica. Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell, was placed third in the competition. Last year too miss Australia was placed third. More than 80 participants from different countries took part. Apart from miss universe there were other awards like miss photogenic and miss congeniality which was won by Fonthip Watcharatrakul and  Jesinta Campbell respectively. The best national costume award went again to Thailand's Fonthip Watcharatrakul. The event took place in a grand manner in Las Vegas, United States. There were around 20 judges including both telecast and preliminary judges. Only two Indian ladies have won the title so far. Here is the list of Miss Universe from the year 1952. Prakash Raj Marries Pony Verma

Prakash Raj, south Indian actor, who has also acted in recent Hindi Salman Khan starer Wanted married choreographer Pony Verma on 24th August 2010. Pony Verma is a Choreographer in Hindi cine industry and is a close friend of Prakash Raj for a long time. They both thought that it was the right time to tie the knot and got married yesterday in the presence of both the families and their close friends. Prakash Raj shot to fame after the movie Gilli which was a hit in both Tamil and Telugu (Okkadu). Thereafter it was only hit for him in which ever movie he acted. Recently he also won a national award for his wonderful acting performances in the movie Kancheevaram. The marriage which was conducted in Punjabi style took place in Mumbai. This is second marriage for Prakash Raj. Prakash Raj's mother, daughters, sister and her family were all present for the wedding. His close friends from cine industry were also present and made the occasion a memorable one for the actor. The multifaced actor is around 45 years old now and has done a lot of movies in different languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and so on. Apart from acting he has produced a lot of movies starting from Andhapuram to Payanam and has also directed a movie in Kannada titled Naanu Nanna Kanasu. Gone too Soon: A Documentary Film on Michael Jackson by Ian Halperin

The world lost a great pop star (Michael Jackson) last June (June2009). Even though he is not with us today, he still lives in the memories of his fans. The biographer of the singer, Ian Halperin,  who wrote "Unmasked: The final years of Michael Jackson" is now making a documentary about the singer which is expected to be released in the month of June, 2010. He has titled the documentary as "Gone too Soon". The movie contains interviews of Jackson's personal manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, bodyguard and attorney. 

The documentary film will be for about 88 minutes. The film will be unveiled at the MIPTV conference in Cannes, France and will receive a limited cinema run in Canada and France on June 25, the death anniversary of Michael Jackson. Halperin says that the singer's family is aware of the project and he also said that none of them appear in the movie. No confirmations are available about the release of the movie in other countries.
