Prakash Raj Marries Pony Verma

Prakash Raj, south Indian actor, who has also acted in recent Hindi Salman Khan starer Wanted married choreographer Pony Verma on 24th August 2010. Pony Verma is a Choreographer in Hindi cine industry and is a close friend of Prakash Raj for a long time. They both thought that it was the right time to tie the knot and got married yesterday in the presence of both the families and their close friends. Prakash Raj shot to fame after the movie Gilli which was a hit in both Tamil and Telugu (Okkadu). Thereafter it was only hit for him in which ever movie he acted. Recently he also won a national award for his wonderful acting performances in the movie Kancheevaram. The marriage which was conducted in Punjabi style took place in Mumbai. This is second marriage for Prakash Raj. Prakash Raj's mother, daughters, sister and her family were all present for the wedding. His close friends from cine industry were also present and made the occasion a memorable one for the actor. The multifaced actor is around 45 years old now and has done a lot of movies in different languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and so on. Apart from acting he has produced a lot of movies starting from Andhapuram to Payanam and has also directed a movie in Kannada titled Naanu Nanna Kanasu.
