Nitish Kumar, the 16 year old kid from Canada, is the youngest player to have played in a world cup. His date of birth is 24-5-1994. He made his debut in international cricket against Afghanistan last year(2010) in Sharjah. So far he has played just 6 matches including the one that he has played in the ongoing world cup 2011. He scored just one run in the first match of the world cup. He is nicknamed as the young Tendulkar.  He has a strike rate around 50. Lets wish him all success in his cricketing career.
